Friends,

As we enter Elul, we are excited to be offering many opportunities for Torah  learning and growth at Skokie Valley, including two new opportunities beginning this week!

Tonight, August 21st at 8:00pm, Rabbi Hart will facilitate our first Spiritual Writing Workshop.

Writing is a time tested, powerful way to focus our thoughts on spiritual matters and to grow. No prior journaling experience is necessary. Please bring a journal and pen if you have one. Paper and pens will also be provided.

Also beginning this week, Sunday at 8:00am, we are excited to offer Talmud for Everyone.

Join Rabbi Steve Mandel for spirited, accessible Talmud learning. No previous Talmud background required.

These are in addition to our ongoing Classes:

  • Tuesdays at 2:00pm: Current Events through a Torah Perspective with Rabbi Hart.
  • Shabbat after Kiddush: Parashat HaShavua with Jed Abraham at 12:30pm.
  • Shabbat afternoons, 40 minutes before Mincha: Understanding the 39 Melachot - Hilchot Shabbat with Rabbi Hart.

We hope you'll find something for you in these offerings, and stay tuned for new classes and activities coming up this fall!

With hopes of reaching higher heights, together.

Rav Ari
