Yom Kippur Appeal
Our Yom Kippur Appeal is a key element in our annual fundraising activity. It provides important funding for the general operations of the shul as well as for new initiatives. Our goal for this year’s appeal is $100,000. We need your help at whatever level you can manage. The shul is on a remarkable path of growth, with over 70 new families in the past year. Now is the time to help ensure its continued success.
As we look ahead to 5779, we ask that each of you pitch in, in whatever way possible, to help guarantee the path to our continued growth. Every contribution is valued, appreciated, and will be gratefully acknowledged.
Please keep in mind that SVAJ offers a flexible dues structure with lower membership fees than other synagogues in the area and has no building fund. Still, membership dues represent less than 40% of the synagogue’s operating budget.
Many of you have contributed over and over again to our annual appeals on Yom Kippur. We ask that you join us in committing to the continued success of our new rabbi and bustling 60-year-old congregation by using the form below (or by mail, or by phone call to 847-674-3473).
